In my book, The Wealth Attraction Formula: How to Attract Wealth & Manifest the Life of Your Dreams, I discuss the Five Keys to Attracting Wealth. Once you discover that mindset is the most important component in creating wealth (Chapter 1), the challenge becomes more about building that mindset and taking positive steps to achieve your goals; a way of thinking and feeling that inspires action which creates results and impacts your values.
Moving Beyond Desire
The second Key to Attracting Wealth is Vision. It should be fairly obvious that, once you’ve established your true desire, the next step is to visualize how you’re going to get there; a vision of the future for you and your business that will satisfy your wants and needs.
Your vision is like a target at which you can point your thoughts and mindset. It is the best possible outcome of your desires, and provides a path for your energy to follow. In other words, desire is what you want, but vision is why you want it.
A clearly conceived vision is critical, because it is the foundation of all the plans you will make to consciously create success. It’s more than dreaming or speculation, or even imagining. In fact, your vision (at least, the kind of vision that I teach people to create) is nothing less than full alignment with the energetic vibration of your wealth, success, and fulfillment.
If your goal is to create truly transformative results in your life, you will need to take the time to identify and understand your vision before you take any further action to fulfill your desires. The more real, tangible, and clear your vision is to you, the more easily you will be able to align your mindset, energy, thoughts feelings, and actions with it.
How to Develop Your Vision
Developing and understanding your vision is not a simple process. Real and important questions must be asked and answered, and only you can answer them. For example, and taken straight from my book, here are some simple questions to help you identify and shape your vision:
- If all things were possible, what would your ideal life look like? What would you be doing? Where would you be doing it?
- What are the defining qualities of your ideal life? (For example: freedom, opulence, leisure, purpose, or passion.)
- Who are you in this ideal life? What are the defining qualities of the version of you who could most fully enjoy, interact with, and accelerate this ideal life? (For example: calm, joyful, confident, or excited.)
- How would a day in your ideal life unfold?
- Who shares this ideal life with you?
Obviously, these questions are not only about work. If it were possible to find the kind of balance you’re seeking by only dealing with job-related questions, you probably wouldn’t need to read this blog.
But, what good is a thriving business or career if the rest of your life is a mess? What good is having wealth if you never have the time to enjoy it?
No, we’re talking about life and business here; the acquisition of wealth in every area that matters: physical, mental, and spiritual. That is why having a vision is so critical
