We’ve touched on a few steps that you can take to be seen as a master in your industry in our earlier online identity series post titled, Introducing Your Online Identity to the World. Those five tips that can give you more exposure are; using social media and blogging, writing a book, online interaction like webinars and teleseminars, and public speaking.
Don’t make the mistake, though, of depending purely on the Law of Attraction and the generosity of mankind. There is work that you need to do to make things happen. A major way to gain the reputation as the phenomenon of your industry is through public speaking and keynote speaking.
PUBLIC SPEAK your way to a greater reputation
Do you want to create stable and strong relationships? You must utilize direct person to person communication. Take a risk! Put yourself out there! A couple of things will happen right away. You’ll be viewed as “The Master” by your admirers. You’ll also be seen by multiple groups of people. Then, and only then, will your audience look solely to YOU to help them overcome the problems that they experience.
I can’t over emphasize how important it is to build your online reputation in order to attract wealth!!
The Law of Attraction works – but not for everyone – you have to be deliberate, strategic, and work harder than you’ve ever worked before. You must place yourself in profitable situations. Public speaking is just another way to pull the Universe closer in your favor to help you reach your goals.
I’ve found that many people who start a business view public speaking as a lost art; they think that it’s not the way they “make their money.” Public speaking can also be quite nerve-wrecking and terrifying. For those reasons, they avoid the angst and use it as an excuse to avoid public speaking.
Public speaking can produce quite opposite results that what you may think though. Take a step back for one moment! Don’t focus on the final paycheck. Get over your fears. Then and only then will you make great strides in beginning to build your profile and be viewed as an expert in your industry.

Think About These Points:
- More Exposure – speaking to a greater variety of people will automatically equip you with greater exposure. The attentive group of people in front of you wants to hear what you have to say because they’ve made the effort to be in attendance. That’s a great use of your time and energy – it’s sure to build your reputation.
- Elevated Character – skilled professional will automatically view you as “The Master.” You’re speaking at a highly-attended, well respected meeting. They’ll feel that you obviously know what you’re talking about. You wouldn’t be in attendance if you didn’t! Work on developing a well thought out and detailed presentation, and before you even open your mouth, you are already honored and admired. This can only increase your reputation and add to your value.
Consider all the things that you are doing at one time while you’re speaking in front of a group of people. You are the expert giving professional advice to a group of people who are obviously interested in you and your topic. You are also advertising the products and services that you offer, and lastly you’re building a new client base which can generate income for your business.
